Here is a brief outline of the process we use to successfully
build our customers' needs. You can expect attention
to detail, individual service, and quality craftsmanship
every step of the way.
|
|
|
Choose a community. Pride
Mark Homes builds throughout the Rochester area.
Check out the communities that are currently in
progress to get an idea of which would be best
for you. If one of these doesn't have what you're
looking for, we will also build in another community,
or assist you in developing a parcel of land.

|
|
Selecting
a home site. You can reserve your home site
with a fully refundable lot deposit. |
|
|
Choosing
a design. A certified new home sales professional
will work with you and the architect to design a
home that is right for you. |
|
|
Adding
features to the design. We provide a quality
package of standard features, with many benefits
in every house we build. This is the time to incorporate
your own ideas and personalize your home. |
|
|
Contract.
Pride Mark uses the Rochester Homebuilder's Association
contract, which is approved by the New York State
Bar Association. Every contract is accompanied with
a detailed specification sheet, which confirms exactly
what will be included in the home. |
|
|
Pre-construction.
This is the process of making specific selections
for all of the components in your home. There are
many decisions that need to be made during this
phase. We have developed a system to make the decision
making process as easy as possible. |
|
|
Construction.
Our experienced construction managers, subcontractors
and suppliers all work together to make your design
and selections materialize into the quality home
that you have envisioned. |
|
|
Closing.
We coordinate all necessary inspections, attorneys,
lenders, and agencies, to make the transition into
your new home as smooth as possible. |
|
|
Warranty
period. We provide a one-year warranty on the
entire home, two years on the plumbing, hvac, and
electrical systems, and six years on the structure.
The specifics of our limited warranty are detailed
in our contract. This is implemented through a series
of three walk-throughs. The first is at the time
of closing, the second is after sixty days and the
third is after one year, which ends the warranty
period. These walk-throughs provide answers to any
questions or concerns regarding your home as well
as generate a punch-list of items that require service. |
